I’m a budding archivist and historian. I am currently working at the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) in College Park, Maryland. Previously, I spent five years at Gallaudet University Archives in Washington, D.C., where I worked on the preservation and accessibility of materials documenting Gallaudet University and Deaf-related subjects such as Deaf people, history, art, culture, education, and signed languages.

Independently, I research Deaf History in the United States of America, with a particular focus on Gallaudet University and the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Area. I share my findings through giving talks and writing for publications.

As a student of history, I am deeply studying the intersection of the relationship between history and the crucial role of archives. I’m expanding my horizons to encompass broader aspects of Archives and Records Management, U.S. History, History of Federal Government, and the innovative field of Digital Humanities. To further enhance my skills, I’m currently taking various courses related to my scholarship.
